Prof. Dr Ho Gwo Fuang is a clinical oncologist at Curie Oncology KL, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He was trained at University of St Andrews and Manchester University 1992-1998; Royal Liverpool Hospital NHS Trust, Barts and The London NHS Trust and The Royal Marsden NHS Trust 1999-2007. He attained his Certificate for Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in 2007 and joined the Faculty of Medicine at Universiti Malaya 2007. He was a Professor of Clinical Oncology and head of Master of Clinical Oncology training programme 2021-2023. He was appointed Adjunct Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Mangalore, India and M. Kandiah Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Tungku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia 2024. His research interests involve breast, gastrointestinal, and hepatobiliary cancers. He co-authored the Pan-Asian Adapted ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines for hepatocellular carcinoma (2020) and ASCO Resource Stratified Guideline for Early Detection for Colorectal Cancer (2019) and Treatment of Patients with Early-Stage Colorectal Cancer Resource Stratified Guideline (2019). He is involved in many national and international collaborative research work, as well as the training of new oncologists in Malaysia.
