Prof. Leong Chee-Onn is a distinguished cancer biologist with a rich career that spans both academia and genomics innovation. Before establishing AGTC Genomics, he held the position of Deputy Director of Research and Professor at the International Medical University.

He was a Senior Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. As of now, he is a Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (FIBMS, UK), Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology (FRBS, UK), and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRCS, UK).

Prof. Leong has served as an adjunct professor at Sunway University, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Universiti Malaya, and the University of Nottingham. His work, particularly focused on oncology and cancer biology, showcases his commitment to advancing healthcare through education and research.
