Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about registering, submitting abstracts, payments, and attending NCCM 2026.

What registration categories are available and what do they include?

NCCM 2026 offers several categories: local delegates (Malaysian residents), international delegates, medical officers / specialists in training, allied health professionals, and students. All registrations include access to the full congress programme, keynote and plenary sessions, scientific breakout sessions, congress materials, and a certificate of attendance. Please visit the Register page for current fee schedules. Fees do not include accommodation.

What payment methods are accepted?

Payment is processed securely through the ConnectExpo gateway.
  • Malaysian participants: credit / debit card (Visa, Mastercard), online banking (FPX), and major e-wallets.
  • Overseas participants: credit / debit card only (Visa, Mastercard). All fees are processed in MYR.
You will receive a confirmation email with a tax invoice upon successful payment.

Is HRDC / HRD Corp claimable? Are e-Perolehan rates available?

NCCM 2026 is registered under HRD Corp (formerly HRDC) and fees may be claimable under the SBL-Khas scheme — please confirm your eligibility with your HR department before registering. A subsidised rate is available for staff from partner institutions including Sunway University. Contact [email protected] for e-Perolehan procurement enquiries and to obtain a quotation or letter of undertaking.

How do I submit an abstract?

Abstracts are submitted online through the NCCM abstract portal. Create an account, select your preferred presentation format (oral or poster), choose a scientific theme, and complete the submission form. Full guidelines — including word limits, structure, and deadline — are detailed on the Abstracts page. Authors will be notified of the outcome by the Scientific Committee.

Will CPD / CME points be awarded? How do I obtain my certificate of attendance?

NCCM 2026 is accredited for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points. Accreditation details — including the number of points and accrediting bodies — will be confirmed and announced closer to the congress dates. Certificates of attendance will be issued electronically to all registered participants who attended the congress. Instructions for downloading your certificate will be emailed after the event.

When and where is NCCM 2026?

NCCM 2026 will be held at Sunway University, Kuala Lumpur. The exact dates are to be announced — subscribe to our News & Announcements page or follow our official channels for the latest updates.

How do I obtain a receipt or tax invoice for my registration?

A confirmation email containing your tax invoice is sent automatically to the email address used during registration immediately after payment is processed via the ConnectExpo gateway. If you have not received it within 24 hours, check your spam/junk folder. For re-issuance or corrections, email [email protected] with your registration reference number.

Can I transfer or cancel my registration?

Registrations may be transferred to a colleague at no extra charge — notify us in writing before the congress. Cancellation policy: a processing fee of RM 300 applies for cancellations received sufficiently in advance of the event; no refund will be issued for late cancellations or no-shows. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Please review the full Terms & Conditions for details.
