Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before registering for or attending NCCM 2026.

1. Registration & Confirmation

Registration for NCCM 2026 is open to all eligible participants via the official registration portal. By completing registration, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the NCCM Privacy Policy.

  • Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or an acceptable employer's letter of guarantee.
  • Registration fees do not include accommodation.
  • The full fee is charged regardless of the length of attendance and cannot be pro-rated.
  • NCSM reserves the right to cancel a registration if payment is not received prior to or on the date of the congress.

2. Payment

All fees are payable in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and processed securely through the ConnectExpo payment gateway.

  • Malaysian participants: credit / debit card (Visa, Mastercard), online banking (FPX), and major e-wallets.
  • International participants: credit / debit card only (Visa, Mastercard).

Fees are to be made free and clear of any deductions, withholdings, taxes, or duties. Any taxes required by the laws of the participant's country of residence are the sole responsibility of the participant. A tax invoice will be issued by email upon successful payment.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • A processing fee of RM 300 will be charged for written cancellation requests received within the early cancellation window (date to be confirmed).
  • No refund will be issued for cancellations received after the late cancellation deadline.
  • Participants who fail to attend the congress are not eligible for a refund.
  • Registration may be transferred to a colleague — please notify the secretariat in writing before the congress.
  • All cancellation and transfer requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

4. Abstract Submissions

  • Abstracts must represent original, unpublished work. Submission constitutes the authors' agreement that, if accepted, at least one author will register for and present at the congress.
  • The Scientific Committee's decision on acceptance, format, and scheduling is final.
  • NCSM reserves the right to publish accepted abstracts in the congress proceedings.
  • Submission of an abstract does not constitute confirmation of a presentation slot until formal notification is received.

5. Health, Safety & Conduct

All participants agree to comply with health and safety measures implemented by NCSM and the venue as required by law or regulation, including any communicable disease prevention protocols in effect at the time of the congress. Participants who do not comply with applicable rules may be refused entry or asked to leave the venue.

By participating, attendees release NCSM, Sunway University, and their respective officers from any claims arising from communicable disease exposure or health-related incidents connected with event attendance.

6. Liability & Disclaimer

  • NCSM reserves the right to modify speakers, dates, programme content, or venue, or to cancel the congress where circumstances beyond its control require it.
  • NCSM will not be liable for any damages, losses, or expenses incurred by participants as a result of a modification, postponement, or cancellation of the congress or any part thereof.
  • NCSM reserves the right to set admission policies to maintain the professional integrity and safety of the congress.
  • NCSM accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal belongings at the congress venue.

7. Photography & Media

NCCM 2026 may be photographed, filmed, or live-streamed for educational and promotional purposes. By attending, participants consent to the possibility of being included in such recordings. If you have specific concerns, please notify the secretariat in advance.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with NCCM 2026 registration shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
